For the Finding, see The Deathless Pact.

The Deathless Pact was a necromantic rite performed by high-ranking priestesses to bind the souls of the dead. To enter the pact, a warrior of the Ancients had to forfeit their flesh and offer their soul to the priestess, becoming a "deathless entity".[1]

Once sealed, the pact continues through the priestess' family line, ensuring the warrior remains immortal across generations. The bond only concludes when the bloodline comes to an end or "upon the death of the priestess to which they are bound".[2]

Those bound by the pact appear to be identifiable by a shared mark, a symbol also found on the priestesses they serve.
