A skill (スキル, Sukiru?) is an action that a Spirit is capable of. In the current build, only the main melee Spirits can fight indefinitely, while the rest are limited to use. In order to restore the use of a spirit, the player has to sojourn at a Respite or find red flowers.

Main skills do not have a cooldown, but no other main skills can be used at the same time.

Subskills have a cooldown and limited number of uses, but can be used in conjunction with other skills.

Umbral Knight

Main skill.
Unleashes a flurry of sword attacks. Attacks can be performed while moving right of left. Attacks can be used under water

Last Rite.
Unleashes a rapid flurry of sword attacks.

Guardian Siegrid

Subskill.
Swings an iron ball to attack surrounding enemies.

Cliffside Hamlet Youth

Subskill.
Performs an arced leap and lands with enough force to scatter and damage surrounding enemies.

Chief Guardian

Subskill.
Hurls a chain fitted with a circular blade. The trajectory of the blade can be changed by holding up.

Western Merchant

Subskill.
Summons the spirit of the Western Merchant, who launches ranged attacks at enemies on sight.

Headless Defender

Subskill.
A knight with shield at the ready. Well-timed blocks will counter enemies, leaving them stunned and vulnerable.

Gerrod, the Elder Warrior

Main skill.
Swings a heavy, powerful hammer slowly, but with force and range enough to block enemies away.

Cliffside Hamlet Elder

Subskill.
Their bloated body arcs up into the air, landing with force enough to level the surrounding area.

Fungal Sorcerer

Subskill.
Generates a toxic mist that reduces enemy health over time. Damage from the mist cannot be blocked.

Floral Sorceress

Subskill.
Harnesses the wind to block away enemies before you.

Dark Witch Eleine

Subskill.
Fires ranged arcane projectiles. Projectiles will home in slightly on enemies in front of you.

Elder Crypt Keeper

Subskill.
Fires arcane projectiles that damage and trap enemies for a short time.

Fallen Archer

Subskill.
Releases a fan-shaped volley of arrows skyward to attack airborne enemies.

Guardian Silva

Main skill.
Chains attacks with a hammer. Hold to charge an attack. Charged attacks hit harder and cause splash damage.

Hidden Test Subject

Subskill.
Uses the urb holding the test subject's body as a shield. Well-timed blocks unleash a counterattack on surrounding foes.

Dark Executioner

Subskill.
Phases behind an enemy in visible range and brings down their blade on the unsuspecting victim.

Hoenir, Keeper of the Abyss

Main skill.
Launces a blitz of dark blades to shred the enemy to pieces from a distance. Their short range is made up for with speed.

Fallen Sentinel

Subskill.
Flies forward, piercing enemies in their path with their blade.

Castle Town Maiden

Subskill.
Summons the spirit of the Castle Town Maiden, who strikes enemies she finds on the ground with melee attacks.

Knight Captain Julius

Main skill.
Unleashes a series of jabbing attacks with a lance that allows for maximum reach. Advancing thrusts can be made by using this skill while moving sideways.

One-Eyed Royal Aegis

Subskill.
The giant knight thrusts his greatsword into the ground, creating a shockwave that launches surrounding enemies into the air.

Forsaken Fellwyrm

Subskill.
Exhales a breath of toxic mist that spreads over a wide area. Enemies that make contact will lose their health over time. Breath damage cannot be guarded.

Ulv, the Mad Knight

Main skill.
Slashes twice with giant claws. Charging will unleash a series of gouging attacks and a devastating finisher, but leaves you wide open.

Incompetent Sinner

Subskill.
The Incompetent Sinner will grab hold of you and dart forward, propelling you both some distance.

Verboten Champion

Subskill.
Leap upward with the Verboten Champion, shredding airborne enemies with his razor-sharp claws.

Faden, the Heretic

Main skill.
Manipulates Blighted to blast enemies. While slow, this deals heavy damage and can blow enemies away at a distance.
